Shannon N. Bryant – Founder & Executive Director
Shannon Bryant is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Her passion for sports began at an early age as she embarked in her journey as an athlete through basketball, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and track & field.
As a teenager and young adult, Shannon continued her growth in soccer, track, and basketball. She had the pleasure of playing with some powerhouse women on the A&T Legacy Women’s Basketball travel team, who won NIRSA and ACSI Conference Championships in 2012, 2014, and 2015 during her tenure. Currently, Shannon is the Assistant Coach of the Varsity Girls Soccer Team at her former high school – Grace Brethren Christian School.
She has an unstoppable drive and dream to continue building a stronger network for female athletes in the DC-MD-VA community through the Hoops & High Heels student program initiatives. Her favorite athletes are Kobe Bryant, Lindsey Harding, Mia Hamm, and DeAngelo Hall. Meet Shannon at our next fun event!
