Queens Of The Court 2016

On Saturday, July 16, Hoops & High Heels Inc. held its Inaugural event as a company: Queens of The Court. The festivities took place at Ball Unlmtd Gym in Forestville, Maryland. Consisting of exhibition games and a 3 point contest, this event was meant to be a relaxed, fun filled day focusing on solid competition and showcasing skill sets. Prizes were given to the Most Valuable Players for both the first place and runner-up teams. Our Thanks goes out to both the Maryland Lady Jayhawks and the Maryland Beltway Lady Cougars for their time and participation in the events; the players were extremely focused and displayed exceptional sportsmanship, which was a clear reflection of the professional coaches that helped prepare them for the events.

A special thank you goes to the parents of both teams, who came out and supported their teams from start to finish. All of those factors contributed to what was a very successful day for everyone involved. The first Hoops and High Heels Inc. event could not have been a success without all of you. Thank you to our event staff, including those who help set up and who were in charge of concessions, despite the very hot and humid weather, everyone was made as comfortable as possible. Last but not least, a thank you goes to Hoops & High Heels Inc. Founder Shannon Bryant, for organizing the event. As the brand goes forward, we hope to incorporate bigger and better events for local and national talent alike to showcase their talent and most importantly enjoying playing the sport they love.
